Dear Parents,
We hope this message finds you and your family in good health and high spirits. We are thrilled to announce a new initiative launched by our association on the 1st of June, in celebration of International Children’s Day.
In place of traditional activities on the day itself, we have decided to launch an exciting Penpal Network for ALCAT children. We would also like to extend our invitation to all agents, whether posted abroad or not, to join us in this wonderful initiative.
Join the Penpal Network:
We invite you to register your child to participate in this cultural exchange programme.
The initiative aims to foster:
– Cultural Exchange: Through sharing traditions, local recipes, flag drawings, and daily life
experiences.
– Kindness & Empathy: By exchanging supportive messages and building friendships.
– Creative Expression: Encouraging arts, poetry, stories, drawings, and even videos.
How to Participate:
– Register Your Child: Sign up by email to join the Penpal Network.
– Fun Activities: Match current photos of the board members with their childhood pictures. Also, colour the photo above (downloadable files below).
– Correspondence: Children who return by email the completed drawings to the association will be matched with a penpal of a similar age to begin their exchange.
Teenagers: If they don’t feel like doing the proposed activities, they can also join the network by sending a short presentation video or email, along with their electronic and physical address.
(Personal data will not be publicly shared, just with their respective buddy.)
Little surprise:
As a token of appreciation, a small gift from the association will be sent to all participating children. We believe this initiative will provide a wonderful opportunity for our children to connect, learn, and grow through meaningful exchanges.
